CAMOUFLAGE. BLEND. RESTORE CONFIDENCE.

Paramedical tattooing is a specialized form of cosmetic tattooing designed to visually camouflage scars, stretch marks, and areas of uneven pigmentation by implanting carefully selected pigments into the skin.

At Enhanced By Mursal, we approach camouflage as more than simply matching a colour. Every treatment is customized around the location, texture, tone, undertone, surrounding skin, and individual characteristics of the area being treated.

Our goal is to make the treated area less noticeable and more seamlessly blended with the surrounding skin while respecting the natural appearance of your body.

Because every scar and stretch mark heals differently, results vary from person to person and multiple sessions are often required to build colour gradually and achieve the best possible blend.

SCAR CAMOUFLAGE

Turn the focus from the scar back to you.

Scar camouflage is an advanced paramedical tattooing technique designed to reduce the visual contrast between a scar and the surrounding skin.

A customized pigment blend is created to complement the surrounding skin tone, then carefully implanted into the scar tissue once the area is considered suitable for treatment.

Rather than covering the scar with a single colour, we consider undertones, surrounding pigmentation, scar colour, skin tone, and healing characteristics to create a more natural-looking transition.

01 — CONSULTATION & ASSESSMENT

We assess the scar, surrounding skin, pigmentation, texture, location, and overall healing.

02 — CUSTOM COLOUR DEVELOPMENT

Your pigment is carefully selected and customized to create the closest possible match to the surrounding skin. Because skin contains multiple undertones, colour matching is approached strategically rather than using a single universal shade.

03 — PIGMENT IMPLANTATION

Pigment is carefully implanted into the appropriate skin layer using specialized paramedical tattooing techniques.

04 — HEAL & REFINE

The area heals and the pigment settles. A healed result is assessed before additional pigment is added or adjusted.

SCARS WE MAY BE ABLE TO TREAT

Scar camouflage may be considered for a variety of healed scars, including:

  • Tummy tuck / abdominoplasty scars
  • C-section scars
  • Breast augmentation or breast surgery scars
  • Facelift and cosmetic surgery scars
  • Injury and trauma scars
  • Burn scars
  • Other healed surgical scars

Every scar is assessed individually. Scar texture, maturity, colour, thickness, and overall condition all play a role in whether camouflage is appropriate.

HEALING & EXPECTATIONS

Immediately following treatment, the area may appear darker, warmer, redder, or more noticeable than the final result. Mild redness, sensitivity, swelling, dryness, or temporary flaking can occur during healing.

The surface typically goes through an initial healing period over approximately 7–14 days, while the pigment continues to settle and mature over the following several weeks.

A scar camouflage treatment is not usually a one-session process. Most clients require approximately 2–3 sessions, generally spaced 6–8 weeks apart, depending on how the skin heals and how the pigment settles.

The goal is gradual refinement rather than trying to achieve the final colour in one appointment.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Scar camouflage can reduce colour contrast, but it does not erase the scar or change its underlying texture.

The final result can also be influenced by scar maturity, skin type, sun exposure, lifestyle, healing response, and the natural variation in your skin tone.

Fully healed, stable scars are generally required for treatment. Scars that are still healing, inflamed, highly vascular, raised, or otherwise unsuitable may require additional assessment before treatment.

STRETCH MARK CAMOUFLAGE

Your skin has a story. You don’t have to hide it.

Stretch Mark Camouflage is a specialized paramedical tattooing technique designed to reduce the contrast between stretch marks and the surrounding skin by implanting customized pigment into the affected area.

Stretch marks can vary significantly in colour and appearance — from lighter, white or silvery marks to darker or reddish tones. Because of this, every treatment requires an individualized approach to pigment selection, colour balance, depth, and saturation.

At Enhanced By Mursal, we focus on creating a gradual, natural-looking blend rather than simply colouring over the stretch mark.

AREAS WE TREAT

Stretch mark camouflage may be performed on areas including:

WHO MAY BENEFIT?

This treatment may be suitable for individuals with mature, healed stretch marks who would like to reduce their visibility.

Stretch marks can occur following:

ASSESS

We evaluate the stretch marks, surrounding skin tone, undertones, texture, maturity, and treatment area.

MATCH

A custom pigment blend is developed to complement the surrounding skin.

IMPLANT

Pigment is carefully implanted into the stretch-marked skin using specialized paramedical tattooing techniques.

HEAL

The area heals while the implanted pigment settles and softens.

REFINE

A follow-up treatment may be performed once the area has fully healed to build colour and improve the overall blend.

HEALING & RESULTS

Immediately after treatment, stretch marks may appear darker or more saturated than expected. This is normal during the early stages of healing.

The treated area may experience temporary redness, tenderness, dryness, peeling, or mild swelling.

The outer layer of skin generally heals over approximately 7–14 days, but the pigment continues to settle and mature for several weeks.

For this reason, you should not judge the final result immediately after treatment.

Most clients require multiple sessions, with approximately 6–8 weeks between appointments, depending on the condition of the stretch marks and how the skin responds.

A GRADUAL TRANSFORMATION

Stretch Mark Camouflage is not about making the skin look artificially coloured.

It’s about creating a more seamless transition between the stretch mark and the surrounding skin, helping reduce the contrast so the area becomes less visually noticeable.

VITILIGO CAMOUFLAGE

Creating a more even-looking skin tone.

Vitiligo camouflage uses custom pigment matching to visually blend areas of depigmented skin with the surrounding tone.

Because vitiligo can change over time, an individual assessment is essential before determining whether camouflage tattooing is appropriate.

Suitability, pigment selection, and treatment planning are determined during consultation.

YOUR SKIN. YOUR STORY. YOUR CONFIDENCE.

Paramedical tattooing isn’t about perfection.

It’s about helping you feel more comfortable, confident, and at ease in your skin.

At Enhanced By Mursal, every treatment is approached with patience, precision, and respect for the individuality of your skin. From the first colour match to the final refinement, our focus is creating a result that looks as natural, seamless, and beautifully blended as possible.
